Karina joined the RTÉ TV announcing team in the late-1990s, working mainly on RTÉ One. She also presents weather forecasts on both RTÉ TV channels.
Macmillan, Rosanne
Rosanne was a BBC TV announcer from 1987 until 1992, and again since 1996. She’s married to former BBC TV weatherman Rob McElwee.
Stephen, Mark
Mark was a BBC Scotland TV announcer (early 1980s – early 1990s). He had a particularly warm, distinctive voice and made the occasional off-the-cuff remark which meant he stood out from the crowd a little – at least amongst people who appreciate these things.

Bernard (Bunny) Youens, was a continuity announcer at Granada for four years in the early 1960s before joining Coronation Street in 1964 as the loveable layabout, Stan Ogden – one half of the famous double act with wife Hilda. Bernard stayed with his Coronation Street role in spite of serious health problems. Sadly, he died in August 1984.
Connolly, James
James joined the RTÉ Network 2 announcing team in 1998. He also popped up on RTÉ One on a regular basis. James left the announcing role in early 2003.
Stanbridge, Clair
Clair joined RTÉ in 1979. She was a continuity announcer on RTÉ One in the early 1980s.
Roberts, Deloni
Deloni joined BBC Wales in 1980, and was an announcer on radio and TV. She retired in March 1999.
Monteath, Alec
Alec was born in Doune, Perthshire. He was an actor, who later worked as an announcer for Scottish TV (1964 – 1969) and also for BBC Scotland TV.

John is a former CFM Radio newsreader. He was also a Border TV continuity announcer. He went on to become a producer/presenter for Border and fronted weekday local news bulletins.

John is a former Associated Rediffusion announcer.
Maude, Roger
Roger was born in 1937. He was a long-serving BBC TV network announcer, whose quietly reassuring voice was heard for 29 years on both BBC One and BBC Two (1966 – 1995).
