Dominic graduated in English from University of Liverpool (1995). He worked at the House of Lords (1996 – 1998) and later at Channel 4 in the Duty Office dealing with viewers’ complaints.

He then moved behind the microphone, introducing the programmes as an announcer (January 2001 – May 2015). He worked mainly on E4, though he was also heard occasionally on Channel 4 and Film4.

He was continuity creative manager at the channel (2015 – 2020) and since 2020, has been continuity operations manager.

On 6th November 2020, he voiced a link over the original ‘4’ ident, introducing The Great British Bake Off: an Extra Slice.
