Danny’s career began with BBC Northern Ireland where he worked as a research/production assistant on BBC Radio Ulster. He became one of the presenters on the newly launched BBC Radio 5 in 1991. After a short period working as a presenter for Radio Napa in Cyprus he moved to London to work for BBC TV News.
In 1994, Danny started work with BBC Radio 1 as a trainee research/production assistant. Danny’s involvement with BBC Radio 1 continued until 2006; during his time there, he performed various roles, including broadcast assistant, producer and voiceover artist.
During his career, Danny has also presented various programmes for Liberty Radio, Thames Radio, FLR and The Sun Live.
In September 2005, Danny joined Channel 4 as an announcer. He can be heard on Channel 4, E4 and More4.
Carse, Duncan
Duncan was a BBC Radio Overseas/Home Service announcer in 1941 and a BBC TV in-vision announcer in the 1950s.

Moon, Kate
Kate was a BBC Radio 4 announcer (1980 – 1986). She then took on an announcing role at Channel 4 (1986 – 1988).
Kate later ran Speakeasy, an agency for voiceovers and presenters.
Ross-Barnard, John
John was a BBC TV (voice-only) network announcer (1966 – 1968), covering BBC One and BBC Two.

Tom was born in South Shields. In his 20s, he was a presenter of BBC Radio’s Children’s Hour. He made his first TV appearance in 1958, interviewing a miner on Tyne Tees TV. He was a member of the original announcing team in 1959.

Smith, Kelly-Anne
Kelly-Anne has been a continuity announcer with Channel 5, Virgin 1 and UKTV Food (dates TBC).
She has also voiced promotional trails for BBC TV, ITV and BBC America and provided station imaging for many major radio networks around the world.
Berrington, Ceri
Ceri was a BBC Wales radio and TV announcer (1985 – 2001). She was later in charge of the BBC Radio Wales announcing team. She retired in early 2001.
Lavers, Paul
Paul was born in Bristol. He is an actor and has appeared in many stage plays, including Les Blancs at London’s National Theatre (2016); he toured with Alan Ayckbourn’s Bedroom Farce (2016).

Terry joined Radio Éireann as an announcer in 1961. He was a presenter and newsreader on RTÉ Television until joining the BBC in 1969.
