Inskip, Gavin
Gavin presents a late-night radio show on Southern FM and also provides continuity announcements on Channel 5.
…Last, John
John started in continuity announcing as a freelancer for ITV 2 (January 2005 – 2007). He also worked as part of the Channel 5 continuity team (mid-2006 – early 2008).
As of late-2008, John was announcing for Virgin 1. His acting career was also taking off, with appearances in various short films behind him, such as Hammered, written by Noel Clarke (Doctor Who and Kidulthood). He also stars in the feature film, Do Elephants Pray?.
John has a BA (Hons) in media performance from the University of Salford.
May, Ted
The “Voice of Central” began his announcing career c. 1986 with a distinctive, authoritative yet upbeat style. Always out-of-vision, Ted’s announcements became synonymous with the station and an integral part of the on-screen brand. His voice could also be heard on “Announcements for Teachers” on ITV Schools (before it moved to Channel 4).
Ted was later part of the announcing team at Channel 5 (early-2003 – TBC).
McDowell, Andrea
Scottish voice who served an attachment as a BBC TV network announcer (1989). She was also a BBC World Service TV announcer (1992). She worked briefly as an announcer for ITV Carlton in London (1993). She has also worked as an announcer with BSB, Living TV, BBC Scotland and Channel 5.
…Powell, Natasha
Natasha was a continuity announcer with Channel 5 (dates TBC). She has also voiced trails for BBC TV.
Rogers, Graham
Graham was a staff ITV network announcer (October 2002 – TBC). He is a former Radio 210 disc jockey who fronted TVS’ overnight service, Late Night Late. He joined Meridian from TVS to present the overnight service Nightime. He went on to become one of Meridian’s four duty announcers, also providing continuity for Anglia and HTV West. Graham has also announced for Channel 4.
Additionally, Graham continues to freelance as a presenter and voiceover on programmes for Sky, Channel 5 and ITV 2. He also produced and presented the Exercise Helping Hand documentaries in Zimbabwe and Zambia.
Smith, Kelly-Anne
Kelly-Anne has been a continuity announcer with Channel 5, Virgin 1 and UKTV Food (dates TBC).
She has also voiced promotional trails for BBC TV, ITV and BBC America and provided station imaging for many major radio networks around the world.
Bentley, Marcus
Marcus was a Channel 4 announcer (2001 – 2011). He is better-known as the voice on the Big Brother daily highlights programmes on Channel 4 and Channel 5. When the programme moved to Channel 5 in 2011, Marcus also did some continuity announcing work for the channel.

O. J. (Oliver James) Borg is a radio and TV presenter.

Leah is a TV news presenter. She spent 11 years with Newsround (2009 – 2021) and has more recently been presenting for Sky News and 5 News.
…Houston, Robin
Well known Thames Television announcer and newsreader (late-1970s – 1992) and LWT continuity announcer. Robin was also a familiar voice to viewers across the ITV network, for his voiceovers at award ceremonies and the Royal Variety Show. Robin has also been heard as the voice of the questions on Channel 5’s 100%. He also presented the channel’s One to Win gameshow.
