Sara’s broadcasting career began at the BBC in London, where she was a radio studio manager (1989 – 1994), working on network radio output, live and pre-recorded – drama, sport and features.
She was a freelance newsreader on BFBS radio (1995 – 1997) and an announcer and newsreader on the BBC World Service (1995 – 1997).
She was also a BBC Wales TV continuity director/announcer (1994 – 2000). She later led the announcing team (2000 – 2006) but was still occasionally heard on air.
She became a freelance voiceover artist (2006 – present), covering: TV and radio commercials, corporate projects, web adverts, telephone IVR/on-hold, medical narrations, e-learning, explainers, tutorials and video games.
She also worked as an announcer and newsreader for BBC Radio Wales (November 2007 – March 2009).
