Dominic graduated in English from University of Liverpool (1995). He worked at the House of Lords (1996 – 1998) and later at Channel 4 in the Duty Office dealing with viewers’ complaints.
…Rogers, Graham
Graham was a staff ITV network announcer (October 2002 – TBC). He is a former Radio 210 disc jockey who fronted TVS’ overnight service, Late Night Late. He joined Meridian from TVS to present the overnight service Nightime. He went on to become one of Meridian’s four duty announcers, also providing continuity for Anglia and HTV West. Graham has also announced for Channel 4.
Additionally, Graham continues to freelance as a presenter and voiceover on programmes for Sky, Channel 5 and ITV 2. He also produced and presented the Exercise Helping Hand documentaries in Zimbabwe and Zambia.
Cowan, Danny
Danny’s career began with BBC Northern Ireland where he worked as a research/production assistant on BBC Radio Ulster. He became one of the presenters on the newly launched BBC Radio 5 in 1991. After a short period working as a presenter for Radio Napa in Cyprus he moved to London to work for BBC TV News.
In 1994, Danny started work with BBC Radio 1 as a trainee research/production assistant. Danny’s involvement with BBC Radio 1 continued until 2006; during his time there, he performed various roles, including broadcast assistant, producer and voiceover artist.
During his career, Danny has also presented various programmes for Liberty Radio, Thames Radio, FLR and The Sun Live.
In September 2005, Danny joined Channel 4 as an announcer. He can be heard on Channel 4, E4 and More4.
Moon, Kate
Kate was a BBC Radio 4 announcer (1980 – 1986). She then took on an announcing role at Channel 4 (1986 – 1988).
Kate later ran Speakeasy, an agency for voiceovers and presenters.
Fitzgibbon, Barra
Bara has been an announcer with Channel 4 since September 1999. He can also be heard on E4. Bara also had a brief stint on Film4.
Rooper, Alison
Alison is perhaps best known as an announcer for BBC Radio 4. She also announced for TVS, and for Channel 4 for six months. The BBC World Service was next, and after that came BBC Radio 4, where she has been since 1989.
Mills, Ric
Ric is a freelance announcer with Channel 4 (c. 2000 – present). He has worked full-time with E4 since its launch.
Lawrence, Sally
Sally was a BBC TV network announcer (1992 – TBC). Later, she moved to a similar role at Channel 4.
Stephenson, Kate
Kate was a Channel 4 announcer (mid-1990s – TBC).
Bentley, Marcus
Marcus was a Channel 4 announcer (2001 – 2011). He is better-known as the voice on the Big Brother daily highlights programmes on Channel 4 and Channel 5. When the programme moved to Channel 5 in 2011, Marcus also did some continuity announcing work for the channel.
Gibb, Claire
Formerly Claire Dickinson. Claire has been the female voice of Film4 since 2006, when the channel was relaunched. She also announces on Channel 4, More4 and E4. Prior to her career at Channel 4, Claire was a presenter on XFM.
Claire had a baby son, Laurence, in March 2009.
Brown, Corie
Corie is an announcer on the Channel 4-owned channels.
